Notes:
-
String literal in Python is surrounded by single quote or double quote. eg : "str1 = 'Python String str1".
- We can print string directly or we can print specific index like in the program (str1[0],str2[1:8]).
- String can be print using the print() function in Python.
- strip() function in Python is used to remove (trim) white space in the string.
- lower() is used to change the case to lower case.
- upper() used in Python to change the case to upper case. It will change all letters to uppercase.
- split() method in Python splits the string into substrings. In the above program you can see that string is split into two strings.
